After the application is issued, there’s a mandatory 20-week period before a Conditional Order can be applied for. While this waiting time can feel long, it offers a valuable opportunity for reflection and working through financial or family arrangements.
Six weeks after the Conditional Order, the Final Order or Decree Absolute, can be granted, officially ending the marriage.
